Free Browsing for PC

Tunnel Guru with Etisalat settings - November 2012

Okay guys, already talked about the fundamentals in this post  Tunnel Guru VPN setting with MTN

but for some newbie, will do a little intro. Yes tunnel guru is blazing with Etislat ( no BIS needed! yeppee!!)

Torrents, downloading, https and all browsing

Below is the Ultimate settings, i created myself, you dont even find it on tunnel guru forum like this.

1. Download the latest tunnel guru client here - Download (Note you need to download your own copy yourself, because each download comes with a unigue TG number, that is very important for the HTTPS section for unlimited bundle, so ensure you download one copy per one PC.)

Secondly make sure you download your version . i.e 32(86) bits or 64 bits depending on your system, a 64 bits wont work for a 32 bits.

2. so unrar or unzip the software with an unrar software like winrar or winzip.. After doing that, open the folder and you will see three files, now, if the file with name TGv1.0 doesnt have the java icon on it, that means you dont have java on that system, and it will not work withour java. so download your pc version of java here free JAVA 32 BITS JAVA 64 BITS

3 . After Successfully installing java, and you click on that file , TGv1.0 it will open, anyway close it first.

4. you need to go to your control panel and turn off your firewall, yes windows fire wall, this prevents some system to browse, however not all , but i suggest you do it for yours cos i dont really see the work of that firewall.

5. Next for HTTPs section that works with etisalat, you need proxifier, now. i dont like putting proxy on my browser and internet application, i like the term "Open Source" so proxifier works like open vpn for the Https section, so download proxifier here - Download proxifier

after successfully downloading and installing proxifier, configure as follows

A. Click on Profile and then Select Proxy Servers

B. on the next box, click on "add" by the left.

C. for address enter : 127.0.0.1

D. port - 6055

E. Tick "HTTPS"

F. Tick "Enable" in Autentication

G. enter usename = web , password = web and then click on save and Ok as many times as it gives you option. then exit proxifier and launch again.

Note: if you dont have proxifier, simply enter for your mozilla browser, Tools, Option, Advanced - Network, Settings, Tick manaul Proxy Configuration and enter

address = 127.0.0.1 port : 6055 . you need to do this for every browser or internet application if you dont have proxifier, but if you do have proxifier, it will proxify evry thing as above.

6. Now Double click on the "Tunnel Guru" file (the one with the blue circle, you may wanna send a shortcort to desktop as this will be your lauching file) when it opens , configure as shown below -

webhost: mobile.etisalat.com web Port: 80#443

Proxy url - http://etisalat.com/ Port : 80#443

proxy host - 93.114.43.209 ( or 93.114.44.130)

Select Internet 3G untick SSL and BUffered as shown above. and click Start. and whait for promt and click OK. OK.

7. Then if you are using the unlimited package, you first have to update your TG number, thats why i said earlier that you have to download your own tunnel guru file, yourself, cos if you use same tunnel guru account that is registered with a particular TG client, your package may stop working. so download yours yourself, get the number of your Tunnel guru TG number by clicking on "About" in the Https section

simple copy it down or click Ctrl + C , it will automatically copy it in the background. then login to your tunnel guru account on your browser and past the TG number there and click "update" .
