1. Ok locate the video that you want to keepor download.

2. on the Youtube page of the video, copy out the url of the video on the address bar, the go to keepvid and paste the Url on the address bar of  keepvid and click Download.

3. It will ask you to run java applet, simply allow it, then you will see your videos in differnet format, mpeg, mp4, 3gp, simply select the format you want to download and it will download like a normal download.

  1. Thanks dude! How long have you been using it? I gotta say, I'm pretty skeptical about it.

  2. thanks for your comment brian, just try it out, works excellently..its been on for a long time..

  3. I'm not so happy with it so I found something else that's really cool. I don't know if you heard of it, but it's called torch browser and it works great. Thanks anyway man!

  4. ok nice, brain, i restricted this post to ways of downloading the youtube videos without any software installation, but if i were to write about softwares, the best i think would be IDM . internet download manager. its the fastest download manager, just googl e it. it can download all youtube videos, matter of fact any video or mp3 on the internet. i think i will write a post on it.

  5. Sure, I get what you're saying, but you need to understand that Torch is a browser so it actually lets you DL without any software (since the browser you use is not considered as an additional software). Anyhow, I was just pointing out a cool way, but obviously it's up to you.

  6. ok thanks alot for the info brain... i will add torch browser to my collections.
