Heres what you do to check the amount of video memory you have, plus
what kind of video graphics accelerator your using on your system
1. go to your start menu,
2. locate run...
3. type in dxdiag
press enter
4. click "No" to the box that pops up.
5. under system tab tell me what 'memory' says.
go to the "display tab"
6. The kind of video graphics accelerator is 'chip type'
7. The amount of video memory presently allocated to video is 'approx. total memory
